What you'll get:
I love being a Sugar Geek! I own a storefront and learn something everyday, not only from Liz but particularly from the community group.
Our customers are really interested in getting the cakes they see on Pinterest and Sugar Geek Show is my best resource for learning more advanced techniques and using new products. New options, isomalt, CakeLace, wafer paper, etc. gives me a much larger arsenal of tricks up my sleeve to offer our clients.
I find that every week we get at least 1 or 2 cake orders that require me to ‘teach’ my staff a new technique I have learned on Sugar Geek University.
I had to budget when first signing up for Sugar Geek Show, but honestly though, it’s such an asset to my training and I’ve grown so much as a result that it’s a priority to me now.
I’ve really grown as a cake decorator thanks to Sugar Geek Show. The tutorials are current and each tutorial always has multiple techniques being taught so I feel like I get so much from 1 video. The Elite member gifts are also amazing because it gvies me an opportunity to try out new products that I might have heard about previously.
I landed a job as a pastry chef for a restaurant thanks to my cake decorating portfolio and I am incredibly grateful for all the hard work that goes into these tutorials. It really helped me up my cake game and I owe a lot of where I am in my career to that.

I didn’t know if I would use any of the tutorials on Sugar Geek Show, so I wasn’t sure about signing up at first. Once I did, I found content that helped me see industry trends and helped me with sculpting food as well as structures.
I needed motivation and to know what people were ordering. I was not confident in my structure building. The tutorials have sparked my creativity and encouraged me to try new techniques.

At first, I wondered if I would get enough out of Sugar Geek Show to justify the cost every month, I mean, would I even use it? Well, it has gone so far beyond what I ever even began to expect!
I used techniques that I learned from at least 3 of Liz’s tutorials on my piece so without the knowledge that I gained from becoming an Elite member, I doubt that I would have even entered the competition. And a bonus perk, I used a few of the tools that I got as gifts for being an elite member on my piece!
I started out watching the most basic tutorials. I set aside a few hours every night and watched a tutorial or 2.
Some of them I thought at first that I would not need, but I would continually find that when I would do my next cake, I would incorporate tips or things that I have seen in the tutorials, that the quality of my cakes was improving. And as the quality of my cakes improved so did my confidence.
